EUROID 2010 in Cologne, 6th international Trade Fair and Science Forum for Automatic Identification

2010, May 4th - 6th the 6th EUROID (www.euro-id-tradefair.com ) took place in Cologne, Germany. The spectrum of the trade fair covers optical identification techniques, RFID, software systems, IT security and telematics.

The Trade fair gives a real good impression and overview on the RFID business and technology. So not only the identification technology suppliers but also the producers of tags have been present giving a complete overview on product, technology and application as well. Still very useful is to meet the AIM (www.aim-d.de) Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility to get information on the different codes and other news.

However, there was only little presence of vision based identification. Many well known and established companies in this business did not show up, neither product suppliers, nor solution providers.
