March 2nd-4th the LogiMat trade show takes place in Stuttgart, Germany. Mainly dedicated to Distribution, Materials Handling and Information Flow, more and more automated solutions using handling systems and sensor technology can be seen.

This year, more than 700 companies showed their products, partially including sensor and robotics technology.

Especially auto-id systems, scanning systems and FTZ as well as portal robots has been shown as well as camera technology, integrated into labelling machines. It became obvious, that both robotics and machine vision already became an important, mostly integrated part of logistic market.
